F I N G E R S is a co-operative retail outlet for New Zealand's top contemporary jewellery. It was established in 1974 by jewellery artists Alan Preston, Ruth Baird, Roy Mason, Michael Ayling, Michael Guy and Margie Phillips. Three of the founding partners remain. The Fingers partners are rostered to serve in the gallery, so you'll meet a different artist there each day you visit. Call ahead if you're interested in meeting a particular partner. Recently they've been joined by Retail Manager Jason Hall who is in the gallery most days.
